The tips are vertical. The inward tip of the outboard rib is to provide camber to the covering on the tip plate. The maximum wing span is 40cm. I don't have a lot of experience with different size motors yet but it looks like with good quality Tan II rubber something around .090" works well. With Super Sport I would probably go a little heavier than that.

I was looking at the plans for both Finneys. I was unable to see at
what angle to mount the tips. It appears the outside rib is tilted in
1/16th, inch. Are the tips glued tilted in, or should the tips be at 90
degrees to the wing and stab? Whats the maximum wingspan aloud on it?
Best suggestion for motor? Thanks, Mark
