I guess we need to contact whoever organized USIC (Phil Sullivan?)
and resolve a number of questions. The helium issue is a big one. In
addition to no Std Cat on Wed, there is no High Wing Mono on Thur, no
A ROG on Thur, no AMA Peanut on Fri, no Sci Oly on either Fri or Sat,
no Golden Age on Sat, and no A6 on Sat. WWI ML is listed twice, Fri,
Sat. Probably Sat is WWII ML.
There were no flyers (2 entrants) in Golden Age and 3 entrants in
High Wing Mono last year. AMA Peanut had no entries.
There were only 3 entrants in A ROG, but this is the only contest of
the year where that event is flown. I hate to see it go (since I fly
it!). It wasn't even sponsored by AMA, but by NFFS.
The SO program hasn't been well-attended for a while, so I'm
ambivalent.
A6 had 11 entries, so it and Std Cat (13 entries) certainly should be
included.
Maybe some typos are part of the issue with the USIC schedule. Maybe
if they are fixed, new copies can have something other than a dark
green background which makes the schedule difficult to read and
events one is flying cannot be highlighted.
