Leroy, probably no longer a current question, but dug out my
ministick meter, and sorry to say can't measure the wire diameter,
since I soldered a short heavier wire to the part emerging from the
dial face. I can report the (smaller) wire element is 7.4" long, and
a complete revolution goes to .24 in-oz. That alone would reveal the
probable wire diameter using designer chart Bill G mentioned (if it
matters now.)

Apparently some guys fly every every class and get away with two
torque meters, but I enjoy three, to cover from ministick (.019"
rubber) to Open Pennyplane (.120" rubber.)
