It is good to hear from you. Thanks for the information, it all makes sense,
now. At first, I thought I wasn't separating the fine strands correctly. Now
I understand that the carbon fibers are short, not long "threads". Also, I
had not understood the negative contribution the glue makes to the stiffness.
I haven't been building very much for a few years, but am getting back into
it now.
