We lost another great Indoor guy. First Hack then Chuck Tracy and now Bill, 3 class guys.I'll miss shootin' the breeze with all of them. I remember the 3 of them for as long as I can remember flying indoor. And I started flying Indoor when I was 9 years old at the Old Cleveland Indoor meets.

God speed to all 3

Bill was a long time friend and a fine gentleman and I will miss him.
We had a long talk at the last Kent meet and it was obvious then that
his health was declining. He was always a strong supporter of indoor
flying and of F1D in particular. He was our team manager in 1978 and
1980 and he held many record trials and team selection meets in the
Akron Air Dock over the years dating back at least as far as the 1960's.
Bill continued to support us in recent years as a member of the team
selection committee and he always signed up for the Indoor Nats even
though he knew he would not be able to attend.

So long old friend. Hope they have an Air Dock up there!
