Bill--interesting--and I agree. My best A-6 prop is a 40-degree. It did 8:45
once at J.C. but the model dead-sticked from about 50 ft!

The 40-degree prop is also best at our 37-ft. site in Colorado Springs.

I seem to always use larger motors than most people. My 9:30 at USIC 2007
was on 1 gram of 5/99 x 18" (.050"). I've never done well with 45 degree
prop blades. Mine typically are set in the 34 to 38 degree range.
