A group of us in Wichita/Oklahoma have a formula for sport nocal's that
allows for a variety of types of airplanes: 40SQ" wing area, 6" plastic
prop unmodified -weight can be added for balencing-most everyone is
using the Ikara props, minimum weight 8 grams and maximum 12" of
rubber. I have built a 30" wingspan Stemme s10 and a 12" wingspan
Wright racer with this formula. It is not too hard to manage weight,
and they are manageable in low ceilings.
