Just a quick re-cap-

Top times:

Valparaiso- 3:27
Newton-North 3:09
Grand Haven- 3:03
Brookwood- 2:59
West-Windsor- 2:55
Yankton- 2:52

The local weather played a factor (hot with high humidity) that many
teams could not overcome. Then headquarters would not allow any trim
flying during the contest. Almost half the teams ended up with damaged
airplanes, broken motors with their time running out to put up their
flights. Ceiling was about 28' high with two full basketball courts.
Though no mid-airs happened durning official flights, at least 10 mid-
airs happened during the narrow, 2-hour trim period in the morning. At
that time 60 teams attempted to trim with 10 airplanes airborne at any
given time.

Special thanks to Glen Simpers from Maxecuters for coming to help with
officiating.

Regards,
Tom Sanders
