MMM Easter Eve Indoor Contest

Colorado Springs, CO 3/22/08

 

Another great meet! This time it was particularly relaxed and fun. I guess
because of that we weren’t focused; we failed to break any site records for
the first time ever. Either that or our records are pretty darn good now
(this is what I think)!

It was great to see Eric Monda make the trip after a layoff of about a year
due to a new baby. Congrats Eric; I hope you’re getting more sleep these
days.

The glider events featured some solid flying by the usual suspects. In
addition there were six Juniors & Seniors. How great it was to see all these
kids enjoying Free Flight!

I want to recognize two guys who really stepped up and helped at the table
for lengthy periods, especially during the glider flying: Darold Jones and
Bill Leppard. Thanks a bunch, guys!
