3M 77 works fine on "3D" models. A fuselage would still be covered in
4 pieces, not wrapped around, if that's what you're implying. Some
guys wave the part through a sprayed mist of 77, and that is sufficient
and light if you get the right amount wafted on. I prefer to dilute
the S77 at least 10 to 1, and brush on, with model part laying upside
down in raised bed of film. (Details in files section, "Unofficial

A good film for Manhattan Cabin is available from Ray
Harlan, "Ultrafilm" which I think is equivalent to what used to be
called polymicro. Catalog here,
