MiniStick Prop

I want to make a new and lighter prop for my MiniSlick model. I have a
selection of very good wood in 1"+ widths and 18" lengths. I have .013",
.022" and .034".
The .013" seems too thin to me but I have a tendency to do everything on
the heavy side. The sheets are also in different grades from some A-B to
C grain, keeping in mind that the grain will have to run almost from root
to tip of the blade which would be best ?

Thanks,
