Mcrabby,
We understand and appreciate your eagerness to want to absorb it all
immediately, and you have the right idea to attend a real indoor meet,
esp. Midwest Champs. There you will learn in a minute or two of
watching someone wind what could take 100s of words in print, and that
maybe not as effectively. But there are drawings of stooges and
descriptions of winding methods in past issues of INAV (Indoor News and
Views.) Go to Indoornews.com and poke around, look for "INAV back
issues" or the like. They are available as bound albums of past
decades, if I understand correctly. I also recommend "Indoor Flying
Models", by Lew Gitlow, the best $23 you can spend on anything indoor.
The above is not to discourage anyone else from decribing their own
winding methods or stooge system right here.
