Depending on how particular you want to get:
- Use oven bags (they apparently don't outgas acids that could affect
the rubber)
- Seal tightly (air is one of the enemies)
- Store in a dark place (light is another enemy)
- Put it in the fridge or freezer (cold supposedly slows down any
chemical reactions)
Or you can just put the box in the closet.

If it won't climb, it almost definitely isn't the incidence and it
almost surely is the amount of thrust. More power :)

Yep :) It's all a matter of getting a feel for it. As light and
fragile as your plane seems now, you'll look back on it in a few
months and marvel at what a tank it was!
