Hi,
I plan to be there and would glad to help you. I
am sure many others would be glad to help you too. As
for flying, you should understand how these events are
run. There are time slots where different types of
models can fly, this is so a light slow flying type
model doesn't get blasted out of the air by some
heavier type model. It also helps keep from having
everyone flying at the same time. For any given
time slot you can fly as long as your flying the type
of model allowed in that time slot. You can put as
many practice flights in as you want. Once you have
the model flying well you can get a timer and put in
an official flight. If you don't want to post any
offical times, that is fine you just fly and enjoy
modeling. So if you sign up and pay the contest fee
then you can fly. Most if not all the contest fee
pays for the renting of the building, so you're just
contributing to the rental fee, which is only fair if
you fly. If you want to come and watch and talk with
us that's fine too and will cost you nothing.
Cheers,
Kurt
