My F1D project is not up to such level that I would attend the WC this
year. But anyway, from what I have heard in the news does not seem
worrying to me. There have been some demonstrations against the
independence of Kosovo in Serbia, but I see no signs of things getting any
worse. Keep in mind that Kosovo declared independent this week, so all you
now see is the primary reaction.

Of course, if I attended, I would not walk on the streets dressed in
Finnish flag, making it clear for anyone that I'm from FINLAND (as pres.
Ahtisaari was in a major role negotiating the Kosovo's independence, I
suppose the nationalist-minded serbs do not especially love Finns), but I
do not think moving around in cognito would pose any threat. After all,
there used to be a outdoor FF Eurochamps just before former Jugoslavia
broke apart, and some people from Finland had to find out, which border
stations were still open, to get _into_ the country to participate the
competition, which went smoothly.

I have not heard the Finnish government giving any limitations for
traveling to Serbia, but I believe I would have seen such news, as they
are typically printed in the newspaper next to the news dealing the
situation in the country in question. But I can keep you informed of any
news, if you wish.
