Mark, just read Larry Kruse's column on page 91 of the March Flying
Models magazine. He shows a gram scale that would fill your needs for
some time. It is called the "DigiWeigh Jewelry Scale-Model DW 50AZ"
which he finds on eBay or on the manufacturers web site. He checked it
favorably against his "big Bucks" scale. It weighs in hundredths of a
gram up to 50 grams. He says it is available for about $15 plus shipping
or a bit less at the right auction price. Good Luck.
