LittleSquare testing

Yesterday I got to fly my LittleSquare for a couple of hours. The flying site has a 23' flat ceiling with a higher portion about 20' wide running down the center. Best times were 3:05 with a max altitude of about 22' and 3:15 using about a foot of the higher space. Prop was an Ikara SO modified per the Double Trouble plan set at 12 pitch. Rubber was 7/02 Tan2 about 15" long (2g weight). I also tried 14 pitch with a 14" loop and got a few seconds less time. Prop RPM's were around 350. Launch torque was around .3 in-oz.

I had a couple other props with me but didn't get to test any others.

I've made a new motor stick that is about 3" longer than the plan dimension. Hook to hook distance remains per the plan. My intention next is to weaken the motor stick until I can see an effect on the model but I didn't get that far yesterday.

I think I'm running a regional on Feb 23. If so I'll get a chance to fly it in a 35' gym. Hopefully I can get some testing done in my house before then to set up the motorstick bending.
