Michael,

See if Peck-Polymers, rather their Indoor Model Supply subsidiary, still
sells the Lew Gitlow Book on indoor models and flying. I believe you'd learn
a lot from it. I believe the title is "Indoor Flying Models."

Also consider trying the "Slow Poke," a more robust Penny Plane-size model
that uses a plastic propeller and flies well. It will be a bit easier to
build and will take the bumps, dings, collisions, and mishandling typical of
indoor flying better than a true Penny Plane.
