Hi Bill,
Our approach is to start at a high pitch 1.9 P/D and wide rubber. The
first rubber width we tried was .125, but it didn't give us enough
turns. so we reduced the width from there. If the prop had started to
stall we would have reduce the pitch, but we can reach our ceiling
without reducing the pitch or rubber width. For the state contest(42
ft ceiling) a further reduction in pitch and rubber width will
probably be necessary.
