I met Ed Stoll many years ago at one of the classic gatherings at West
Baden. He was a gentleman and a builder of impeccable models, scale as well
as endurance. I particularly recall his beautiful scale model of the Corben
Ace, complete with engine details. I believe he qualifies as a true icon of
our hobby. His passing comes as truly sad news.
