Don't bother with the cutouts! I stick the blades for F1L and ministick onto the sides of the spar using white glue which is non shrinking - much easier, with much less risk of distorting the blade. We use to do this splice method 30 years ago here for EZB because it was the convention at the time.

  I'm about to make a new ministick prop and need some advise. In the half

  blades. Do you make your slots for the spar before forming the blades ?
