Fred, the event, 221, is listed for Sunday, June 1. The Contest Board vote was the preliminary vote. It would not go into effect until next year, if it passes the final vote later this year.

  At the last USIC, three of us flew AMA Event 221, Free Flight Electric: Ray Harlan, Rob Romash, and myself.

   

  (1) Will this event be flown at the 2008 Indoor Nats/USIC? I did not see it listed on my forms.

   

  (2) Ray Harlan proposed a rule change IND-09-2 that changed the battery from no more than two 50 mAh Nickel Cadmium cells to one 10 mAh LiPo cell and reduced the maximum weight from one ounce to 10 g. Ray's proposal, which I support, received an 8-1 Pass vote from the Indoor Contest Board. Does this vote complete the rules change or, are there additional votes required? Maybe this event will be flown at some other contest if not at the USIC.
