Some really excellent glider flying today. Todd Reynolds is now solidly
MMM's best HLG flyer--indoors and out. Today he crushed the site record with
a new glider that posted two 41.3s on its first two officials! This is more
than 6 seconds over Romash's 2-flight site record from 2005! The model is a
smallish flapper on the small side at about 70 s.i. and 8 grams.
In UCLG Romash pulled out a new glider that beat my club record by a couple
of seconds. The model was doing 44.x on test flights! Note to Bill Gowen:
your 84.7 sec 2-flight site record may be history soon!
Rubber times: Nothing spectacular. It windy outside today so the air was a
bit iffy. Romash did do 8:19 in Ministick, only 2 sec short of Tom Sova's
site record.
More tomorrow.
