A local small hardware store in my neighborhood has boxes of Duco in
the small tubes. I bet that they would give me a break if I was doing
a workshop for kids in the local school. Maybe you can find a similar
source.

The key is to go to a place that will be sympathetic to what you are
doing. You might also try Target. At least the local Target is known
to help out in the community.
