Lee,

I do not water shrink, I crinkle and then iron the paper between sheets of newspaper. I tape one edge of the paper to the work bench and set the wing down starting at the untaped edge and carefully roll the wing towards the taped edge. If you are very careful this method will work very well and you can get a very tight, smooth covering. Old fashioned lighter fluid can be used to release the 3M but it will leave a residue on the paper that will let everyone know that you goofed. <grin> I try to do my covering as soon as possible after ironing and I use a heat lamp shining on the workbench to keep humidity as low as I can. Some use a hotbox to keep humidity as close to 0% as they can but I am a bit too clumsy to work in a box.

Jerry
