Bill - Thanks for this quick update of your plan, and for your answer
re the predicted increase in WS 2008 times.
I think .6 grams for the finished wing is a bit optimistic unless you
are a very experienced builder.
The other recent post re prior WS times with use of 24 cm prop were
for a 50 cm span wing with a 10 cm chord instead of a 50 cm wing with
a 7 cm chord, if I am not mistaken. That's a lot less wing loading if
the minimum airplane weight was the same.
You recall my post a few weeks back wherein the wisdom of maxing the
prop diameter was discussed. Everyone had varying opinions. Some
suggested making it smaller might actually increase times.
