There was also an excellent discussion of prop blade design by Dr. Drela before the last World Champs. It was at least partially responsible for a performance boost in my models.

  I wanted to thank both John Barker and Tapio Linkosalo for their
  discussion on prop diameter. It is what I joined this group for. It
  is being able to sit in on a wonderful discussion by two people more
  knowledgeable about this subject than I. It is the best form or
  learning and helps people like me decide what to experiment with next.

  I felt the same way about the C.G. thread that was going on a few
  weeks back. Both of these threads are now hard copy notes in my copy
  of McCombs and will let me reread both of Martin Simons' books aided
  by this new information.

  I hope those of you out there with this storehouse of knowledge will
  have more discussions like this.

  Reasonable men will disagree. If they didn't the world would be a
  much more boring place.
