2007 US F1d Team Finals - Results

The Team Finals were held July 7-9 at the Kibbie Dome. The final
results are posted in the Files section.

Congratulations to the 2008 US F1d Team:

Open
1. Jim Richmond (34:39+33:39=68:18)
2. John Kagan (34:13+33:58=68:11)
3. Doug Schaefer (34:01+33:45=67:46)

Junior
1. Tim Chang (34:42+32:59=67:41)
2. Ethan Aaron (29:12+28:02=57:14)
3. Molly Neering (28:06+27:37=55:43)

Jim Richmond came from behind in the 9th round to move into first.
Tim Chang had the longest flight of the contest. Molly Neering, who
has only flown F1d for three months and was coached by Brett Sanborn,
did a great job in her first Finals.

The performances of our young flyers, Doug Schaefer, Brett Sanborn
and Tim Chang, were impressive.
