Hi Larry,

The foam stuff that we use for catching the model is called caulk
backing. Most people use the 3/8" size found at hardware stores; the
pieces are usually 20-30' long. I don't think the test of the fishing
line really matters. Nothing too heavy or too light is required--just
middle of the road strength. The plug system is done by using a
"pneumatic connector." See if you have any local companies that service
industrial automation systems. Most of these companies have pneumatic
connectors or know where you could find one. You'll also need a plug to
go in one end and attach to the fishing line. I'm trying to get a hold
of an automation place in my town to hopefully acquire some. If I can I
will get an extra few and you can have one.
