Max Zaluska observed, "I haven't seen much of a turnout at any of the
contests at Lakehurst
since I've been going there."

Are there any sanctioned indoor contests in the country where contestants
haven't become an endangered species? We died at the Buffalo Bills
fieldhouse and at our Rochester armory. Kent had only 20-some fliers. Was
the USIC down too? What about Flint?

Perhaps the term "mass extinction" can soon be applied to some animal life
other than dinosaurs.
