I actually am doing pretty good at keeping records now that I use my laptop. The only time I didn't at USIC was when I was flying F1M and I was running out of time. Flying the F1M came down to 2 factors: how to get enough turns in the motors and how to get enough high pitch in the prop. Once I got the hub modified it was just a matter of turns. I broke about 4 motors trying to get enough turns for my 3rd flight and then used the same motor with no rest time for the fourth.
The motors were 3 strand motors with one end tied to each o-ring. They were pretty hard to make and really hard to get on the model. If I make any more like this I'll use larger o-rings.
I do have the data for the last 20:00 flight: 15 1/4" 5/99, 2050 turns, .72 in-oz max and launch torque, prop pitch 54/20 for those who care.

Hey Bill,
You mentioned to me that you gave up on notes.. As I look back at the
event, I can see that the time that I would have taken to take the
notes for every wind and ever flight I used to run around, take
pictures, and chat with people. I Really only have two EZB flights
written down, the one that would have done over 31 and the winning
29:44. I hope you at least took notes of your winning flights..
I saw people with laptops and little palm devices to take notes on,
was this easier for you rather than paper/pen?
