Here is the challenge:

We young-timers vs. you old-timers. Who can make-fly for the longest
time a duration model from plans published prior to 1936?

Why 1936? I have one Frank Zaic Year Book, 1935-1936; and, that was
the year AMA formed. For those of you with Zaic's "Model Airplanes
and American Boy" The choice of subjects is better. Share?

The deal is the model should be faithful to the original plan as far
as materials can be reproduced. Don't look for English rubberized
fabric, just try to use a contemporary material. Was condenser tissue
available then?

Now, there is no definite break in contestant age, just how you feel
about yourself, and no special awards for each group. It's going to
be 1, 2, and 3rd with the Kibbie tradition of "modest prizes".

Bring that ancient joy, whether the moldy original or smelling of
fresh glue, to the Kibbie Dome and let's have a go!
