Hi Max,

A voice in the wilderness. Glad to hear from you. Yes, I have
drooled over the center atrium space of NYU's Bobst Library. I can
just see a FF model circling up toward the ceiling. My wife has been
an adjunct professor at NYU for 20 years and I still can't even get in
the library. This town is very territorial. NYU has had 6 or 8
student suicides since we have been here. One off a high floor in the
Bobst Library. Now there is glass around the balconies of each floor.
Guess I need to start asking questions, but I think no Guerrilla
flying. Also there is the 69th Regiment Armory on Lexington Ave.
Covers the whole block between 25th & 26th St. Main drill area is
200' x 168' with an arched ceiling about 130' high.

I live a block from the Astor Place Sub Station. Yes, the Subway
system is great. Old farts like me ride for half price. I will
contact you offline and maybe we can meet here in Manhattan or in
Brooklyn somewhere and make a plan. Everyone in this town has a
business plan. Just don't bend over too much around them.

My apologizes to all the other folks in the group but this seems a
good way to find NYC indoor modelers interested in finding a flying
site. If there are other NYC modelers out there contact me offline or
whatever. Lets meet and see what evolves.
