Hi Bill,
The contest was not well attended. I think only
15 or 20 contestants showed up, but the flying was
great. Many of the ropes that hung from the ceiling
in years past were gone, making the site even a better
place to fly in. On Saturday morning the air was
excellent. All I can remember is the glider results;
Standard
1) Bob Warmann
2) Kurt Krempetz
3) Chuck Markos
4) Kenny Krempetz
Bob had a great 70 second flight and I think he
back it up with a 66 second one. I had two 65 second
flights. Chuck turned some low 60 second flights and
my Dad was turned some high 50 second flights.
Everyone that flew was flying very well.
Unlimited
1) Kurt Krempetz
2) Bob Warmann
I had an 80 second flight and 78 second flight,
Bob had some low to mid 70 second flights.

I flew a discus model, which I couldn't get to
transition very well. The times were poor.
