"It would be great if the Kent State, WNYFFS and MW
States Champs CDs would plan accordingly and not be on consecutive (or
worse--the same) weekends."

Yes, Don, it would, but little things like site availability and unavoidable
conflicts with other spring meets have a way of thwarting plans. Out there
you're fortunate to have only one conflict-free spring indoor contest to
worry about. Back here there's Kent, Flint, and the USIC to say nothing of
Easter weekend and Mothers Day, all coming in March, April, and May.
Schedule anything earlier and winter weather can become a factor. Anything
after USIC is getting into the outdoor season, which many of us fly. Then,
in our case, there's the matter of apparent indifference. Our Buffalo meets
were run as well if not better than any of the others back here, and in a
better site than most, but that didn't keep our attendance from evaporating.
Our contest last Sunday lived down to our worst expectations.
