July 4th has been a tradition a Lakehurst for ever, I once could even attend before 9-11.
The 1st Sunday in May has been the Cloudbusters meet in Flint Mi for at least 14 years.

  Marty
Great example of how the indoor community needs to work together in the
future. Stepping on each others' toes should not ever happen. As small as we
are there is no reason we can't COMMUNICATE and PLAN more effectively.

I really wish that the Kibbe Dome would have been scheduled using this
as a guideline. This year, it is the week following the July 4th
weekend, making it unlikely to attract enough F1D flyers to have a
regional at Lakehurst. It also makes it almost impossible (unless I
happen to win the lottery) for me to attend Lakehurst and the Kibbe
  Dome.
