Congratulations to both Rob Romash and Jim Buxton. It was truly
amazing to watch them fly hand launch gliders. My response to Mark's
questions below; both of these guys are excellent modelers. There
designs were similar being large and light, but there were many
differences. The materials they used were excellent, their workmanship
flawless, the ability to throw hard; very, very impressive. It was
clear watching them fly that they were pushing each other to perform
better, which I believe drove them to do there very best. The "icing
on the cake" is that both of these guys are pleasant, friendly, nice
people to be around and fly with.
