Don's answer is correct. It's a modification to the same glider I flew at Kent last year. The wing has been shortened for shipping purposes and winglets added. It has a new fuse similar to the old one except 2" longer nose and a removable wing mounted on foam. Also the carbon tow wing reinforcing was removed and replaced with two unicarbon strips top and bottom, one of which is full span. It will take a lot of velocity now.
BTW, until this round of modifications this glider was a Slow Poker scaled up to 100 sq. in. and built pretty much to Stan's plan except for the fuse construction. It was my first flapped all wood glider and has been flown hundreds of times over about a 3 year period. It just keeps getting better.

Hi Don,
Thanks for the report. Congratulations to Bill
Gowen on his excellent glider flying,.... setting two
site records! Some very impressive times. Was Bill
throwing discus or javilin style in HLG?
