Colorado Springs Contest -and UPS experience

Thanks to the MMM club for the super contest they put on this weekend.
The air was good, timers were available at your beck and call, the
prizes were nice and the competition was fierce. If you need a new
challenge for your indoor experience try flying at 6000' altitude! Oh
yeah - and then try steering at 37' up with a pole just for an added
thrill!

As for UPS - what can Brown do for you? They can break a 2" pvc pipe
holding a steering pole. And they can punch a hole in the top of a
plastic trunk that is literally strong enough to stand on. Luckily the
contents of both the tube and the trunk arrived in good condition. I
underestimated the G forces that would be applied to the trunk and some
of my gliders got a little scrambled. A little Duco, a little CA and
some rehaping of tail parts and everything eventually worked okay.

Now it's back home to Atlanta for a couple of days and then on to Kent
State.
