I can't get my car on the plane - or into the sites where I fly. It's for indoor flying.

  Hi Bill, you neglected to say what type of vehicle you drive, whether it is
  indoors etc. I use a unit I built to fit my Ford Ranger with a Trailer hitch
  which has a removable ball ( "Hidden Hitch")
  mine fits in the Ball mount. It is made from 2" sq. X 1/4" tubing, over
  kill I will admit but does nor require anchors. My next build will be
  from lighter Material and use the bed anchors to anchor the stooge. I have
  seen some that were mounted to cars with hitches and anchored to the Hinge
  Mounts.
