Fred is right. It is the "restickable glue stick". You can find it at
Staples at http://tinyurl.com/36z8u7 I use Staples but I'm sure it is
available at many office supply stores.

I have glued wing posts into tubes, but it always seems that I'm in a
hurry to put things away at the end of the day. It is never a good
idea for me to be holding a sharp knife when I'm in a hurry, disaster
will likely follow. If I don't cut myself (and get blood all over the
model) I may cut or break the wing spar or taking a chunk out of the
motor stick.

I don't like to mark wing posts either since I've been known to goof
this up too.

There is a danger of goofing things up this way too, but what I
usually do is cut the wingpost flush with the bottom of the tube with
tubes mounted on the motor stick or top with wing mounted tubes. When
reassembling the model or when checking before launching I make sure
the end of the post is flush with the end of the tube.
