this method has worked well for me in building up worn/compacted wing
posts:
Sprinkle a lille bit of talcum powder on a work surface or on your
finger and lightly swipe one side of your square or round post to
deposit a thin layer of the powder on the post. then apply a light
appliction of cyano on the powder. The powder will build up the surface
and provide a bit of "tooth" to the surface. If you build it up too
thick you can just sand it down. It takes very little powder (almost
invisible)to give a good fit. experiment with a scrap piece of wood.
