Re: Atlanta indoor contest
Glad you could make it Josh. We old codgers need a little prodding occasionally to stay on top of our game!
The highlight of the day for me was one of my SCLG launches where the model transitioned alongside one of the roof trusses and slid the left wing tip along the top of the flange of the girder for a foot or so before gliding. Someone made a comment about a perfect launch. I said I thought it could have stayed on the girder a little longer.

Subject: [Indoor_Construction] Atlanta indoor contest
Well I attended my first indoor contest ever today in Atlanta at one
of the TTOMA monthly meets. I'm quite happy with the results, managed
8:09 in F1L, 7:18 in LPP, and (unofficially) 1:36 in embryo. This was
in a 32 ft site. All things considered, it went very well, and I
really wanna go back for the state championship in April. I definitely
learned a lot today, and it was really, really fun.
Good flying,
Joshua Finn
