Digital caliper

I ordered some stuff from Harbor Freight recently. They had a 500g
pocket scale that a bunch of people liked for under $10. I got one of
those and also ordered a 4" electronic caliper. I think it cost about
$16. It's so neat I've been measuring everything I pick up!

I guess that most people are already aware of these things, but just in
case there's someone else out of the loop here's what it does:
Outside messurements
Inside measurements
Depths
Ledge depths

And it does these all to .001" or .01mm, The accuracy seems to be as
good or better than I can read on my micrometer, it's instant and you
don't need your best glasses or know how to add and subtract to get the
measurement.
