Chris, I'm with you, IHMO, the original rule was made to kinda level the
playing field and force the use of a "standard" prop. We, the gurus,
have abrogated this with all the twisting, cutting and whatever. SO,
open the rules and like you say, maybe limit diameter and that's it.
My basic problem with the Ikaras is that they are so fragile (we have to
test in the auditorium with seats) Of course, with a bit of intelligent
engineering the Ikaras could be improved a lot but then they couldn't
sell as many . (;-')
