I have received some information on this...it's in Word format...so I
have copy/pasted below. And yes...I did leave out Jeff's email addy.

Learn It, Build It, Fly It!

On Saturday, January 20th, Grandville Science Olympiad Teams will be
hosting a Learn It, Build It, Fly It session for Balloon Launch Gliders
and Wright Stuff. Come and join us for a day of information,
instruction and fun! Jeff Anderson, Michigan Science Olympiad State
Event director of BLG and Wright Stuff will be our instructor.

We will open the morning with registration between 8 am and 9am. A
registration fee of ten dollars (per school) needs to be charged to help
cover Mr. Anderson's expenses. You will be able to bring as many as
4 students per school as space is limited. All groups of students must
be accompanied by an adult (Coach, parent, etc.)

Between 9 am and 11:30 am (possibly noon) we will have the Learn It
session in the Auditorium. We will have demonstrations on how to pick
out balsa, plans for building, step by step building instructions, and
types of glues to use, gluing techniques, etc. We will be using a
computer generated video on a large screen on the stage so all will be
able to see.

At noon we will break for lunch, there will be a concession available
for your convenience. It will be staffed by our Academic Boosters
Organization and the menu will be posted prior to the event.

From 1 pm to 2 pm, Mr. Anderson will do a Fly It! lesson in the gym.
He will demonstrate the basics of flight and answer any questions the
students and coaches might have.

At 2 pm any student who would like to start building their airplane may
gather in the cafeteria to build or may continue to fly in the gym. Mr.
Anderson will be available for questions until the end of the event. At
6 pm we will conclude the day.

If you would like to attend, please email Mzokoe_at_gpsk12.net
<mailto:Mzokoe_at_gpsk12.net> as soon as possible, we only have 13 spots
available!
