I missed the beginning of this thread but I think the answer is "yes".
How do you gents make these? Many years ago Gary Baughman taught me to bend a triangular hook, then grab the middle leg with round nose pliers while holding the other two with flat nose pliers. I just twist the round nose pliers in the direction the rubber turns the prop. A little straightening and it's done.

When you guys talk about reverse S hooks are you referring to the S
shaped end on a prop shaft that is 90 degrees to the length of the shaft
