As this forum is not supposed to be for rules discussion, and as it is
not the definitive source for SO clarifications, may I suggest you ask
these specific questions on www.soinc.org under rules clarifications?
Then a definitive answer (if there is one) can be posted for all SO
contestant and event supervisors to use consistently.
