First off we're talking about low ceiling flying - Cat I and Cat II. If you're not very knowledgeable about indoor duration flying we're talking about typical school gym situations with ceiling heights of 20 to 30 feet.

Duration is dependent on the amount of energy you can use - not the amount you can store in the motor. The rest of the story has to do with rubber torque curves and the torque requirements of the model. I'll leave all that to anyone else who wants to have a go at it.
