"I'm wondering why you're working with props that don't meet the Wright
Stuff
rules." - We do the same thing with David Zeigler's Freedom Flight Prop
Kit. With the kit the blade is mounted on a toothpick and friction fit into
a plastic tube type hub. This set up allows easy experimentation with
different blade areas and pitches. Once you got something you like you go
back and modify the prop that meets the rules.

"To keep a prop in pitch make a cut on top and bottom of spars. Cut
depth 1/4 to 1/3 though spar." - I would have never thought of that in a
million years!
